We are looking for dancers that are coordinated, willing to learn, and determined to succeed.
If you would like to score well, you need to be familiar and proficient at atleast 50% of these skills.
Please reach us at ella.clopton@pcsstn.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Dance is a year round sport. If dancers are not on the dance team, they are still taking classes. Dance team season is April-February.
You will attend football games, local events, and dance team competitions. You will train with your team at camps and workouts, and overall have an amazing experience!
Without fundraising or a business sponsoring you, it will cost around $800- this does not include travel. With a business sponsorship or multiple businesses sponsoring your dancer, you may not have to pay for anything but travel.
Please view our public calendar to see if the practices and camps will interfer with said sport/activity.
Sports that DO interfer:
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Cheer
- Academic Team
Our judges keep an open mind at tryouts. As long as you are trying your hardest, and plan to eventually master those skills, you have a high chance.
We like to prepare our dancers for the high school level dancing they can do someday. Therefore, we do 12 hour weeks in the summer, 4 hours during the school week, and multiple weekend events.
UDA Camp (overnight camp): Second week of June
DTU Regionals: Last weekend of October
DTU State: First weekend in December
Nationals (every other year, 2023, 2025, 2027): Second weekend in February
